CHARGING TEXTBOOKS DIRECTLY TO YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT
Please Note: When you select "Financial Aid" as a form of payment on this site, what it really means is that you are adding the charge to your student account (just like other charges you incur such as tuition, housing, meal plan, etc.). You agree to use financial aid funds to pay for these charges. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH FINANCIAL AID TO PAY ALL OF YOUR INCURRED CHARGES, EDINBORO UNIVERSITY WILL BILL YOU. You are responsible for all of the charges that you make.
The parameters used to determine whether or not you can apply textbook charges to your student account are set by the bookstore and Edinboro University. NOT EVERYONE will have the ability to apply textbook charges to their student account. If you do not meet the required criteria, including having a certain amount of financial aid funds available at the time of purchase, you will not be able to have your textbooks charged to your student account. The bookstore reserves the right to refuse any form of payment (including student account charges) from any customer at any time. No student is guaranteed the ability to charge textbooks to their student account, regardless of how much financial aid they may receive.
IMPORTANT: ONLY THE STUDENT CAN AUTHORIZE A CHARGE TO THEIR STUDENT ACCOUNT. Anyone making a charge to their student account on this site is verifying their identity and granting permission to charge their account. We verify the student's identity in one of two ways: 1) If you select "pickup at store" as your shipping option, you will be required to show photo identification at the time of pickup. 2) If you have your order shipped, the ship to address MUST MATCH THE ADDRESS ON FILE WITH EDINBORO UNIVERSITY OR YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED. Once again, the bookstore reserves the right to refuse any form of payment (including student account charges) from any customer at any time.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU CANNOT HAVE SHIPPING CHARGES OR THE PICKUP AT STORE FEE (WHEN AVAILABLE) ON THIS SITE CHARGED TO YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT. When you checkout, you will be prompted to enter credit card information for any charges that are not permitted to be applied to your student account (including shipping, handling, and any other "non-course related" items such as clothing, etc.). When you complete an order on this site, you are authorizing the Campus Bookstore to charge your credit card for any items not permitted to be charged to a student account. How will you know what can and cannot be charged to your student account? - easy, on the checkout page you will be prompted to "Click here to see what is and isn't covered by your SFA funds", do that & then enter your student ID number (WITHOUT THE "@" SYMBOL AND ANY LEADING ZERO(S) - EXAMPLE: @0012345 SHOULD BE ENTERED AS "12345") and you will see what is covered/not covered. Covered charges will be put on your student account and non-covered items will be billed to your credit card. There are no shipping charges for digital books. Shipping cost for textbooks is $7.00 for the first book + $1 for each additional book up to a maximum of $15
IF YOU WANT TO HAVE BOOKS CHARGED TO YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT, YOU MUST REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT ON THE WEBSITE. YOU CANNOT CHECK OUT AS A GUEST.
When you get to the account Log In screen (example pictured below), you will have to enter your Log In information or click on "Register Here" to create an account. When prompted to enter your student ID number, do so WITHOUT THE "@" SYMBOL AND ANY LEADING ZERO(S) - EXAMPLE: @0012345 SHOULD BE ENTERED AS "12345"
